President and CEO Sasaki Delivered Lecture at the 8th GX Salon Hosted by Hokkaido University’s Green Transformation Pioneer Research Center

On May 21, 2026, Keisei Sasaki, President and CEO of e-solutions, inc., delivered a lecture at the 8th GX Salon hosted by the Green Transformation Pioneer Research Center of Hokkaido University.

Sasaki also serves as a Municipal Administration Advisor, Sapporo City and as a Guest Professor, Hokkaido University.

Under the theme “A Consideration of Japan’s GX Challenges and Strategic Approaches,” Sasaki spoke about the structural challenges facing Japan and strategic approaches to overcoming them.

Lecture Theme: A Consideration of Japan’s GX Challenges and Strategic Approaches

In his lecture, Sasaki discussed the following four strategic themes that Japan should address:

1.Improving Japan’s energy self-sufficiency rate: GX as a matter of national security
2.Responding to rapidly increasing electricity demand: Building the foundation for next-generation industries
3.Maintaining Japan’s automotive industry: Preserving supply chains and developing global strategies
4.Creating a circular economy for base metals: Developing new markets through resource circulation

These themes are closely connected to the research potential of Hokkaido and Hokkaido University, and further social implementation through industry–academia–government collaboration is expected going forward.
