Project Summary

Aimed to promote packaged export on Japanese companies environmental technologies, we started our engagement at initial stage on Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, China, Smart Community Development Project and compiled the packaged export model and assisted in building its concept.

Promote the export of Japanese Government ‘s Future City
Japanese Government has declared “Future City” as one of its 21 national strategic projects in its new growth strategy. Putting the entire city as a packaged solution, the government is to further its alignment with other Asian nations. “Smart Community” was also added as one of the agenda for packaged-infrastructure-offshore-deployment as part of Japan Revitalization Strategy. Overseas deployment on smart city was promoted both by public and private leadership.

Movement of Japan-China economic partnership
In June 2011, the Chinese government designated Jiangsu Province Lianyungang City as a national innovation model city providing preferred treatment in its financial support. In December 2011, then -Prime Minister Noda visited then-Premier Wen Jiabao. They agreed on their cooperation in establishing Chunichi Ecological Science Park at Lianyungang and develop the Park as a key base for investments and wooing Japanese companies. They agreed that this Park to be an important medium for economic cooperation between the two countries.

Compiled a packaged export model and assisted in building its concept
Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) was considering their engagement at initial stage for Lianyungang City Smart Community Development Project, which was part of the Lianyungang City development concept aiming to promote packaged export model of Japanese companies’ urban development technologies.

e-solutions compiled a “Packaged Infrastructure Export Model.” Also ran a feasibility study for exporting the urban development technologies owned by Japanese companies and of their involvement from the early stages of the development. We also built a development concept and gathered and analyzed basic information for master plan creation to lead this project for its success.
